Snow and Blowing Snow Make Travel Difficult Across Northeast Colorado (Photos)

Snow and wind moved in to the metro area around midday today bringing another shot of Arctic air and poor visibilities across the Plains. Here are some images captured today across the eastern metro area, and points east of DIA.

Snow continues off and on into the evening hours. There's currently a good band of moderate to heavy snow over Denver, with another (likely the last of the day) pushing south across the northern metro areas. Overnight lows will drop into the single digits for Denver, with lows 0 and below possible across the eastern Plains. We dry things out and warm up (a bit!) for Sunday.
