Summer has always been a quieter time for us at Weather5280. This season has certainly been no different. Aided by an overwhelmingly hot and dry summer and the addition of two little ones into our Weather5280 family, it feels like we've been away from you all for too long.

That changes today. While updates have been few and far between in recent weeks, we've been hard at work behind the scenes working to implement new features and more content on the site. With that, today we are pleased to announce Weather5280 Insider, and Weather5820 Insider Pro.

Incredibly, this is the eighth year of this project as a whole, and the third year we've been operating as Weather5280 (some of you probably remember Brendan's Weather in the early years). It's been our pleasure over all these years to share our passion for weather with you. And as our readership continues to grow, and with that the geography we aim to serve, it's become clear that we need to ask for a little help in keeping this resource moving forward.

What it means to be an Insider
Here's where you come in. Becoming a Weather5280 Insider means you are helping to support the daily content on weather5820.com. It also will give you access to all of our general long-range weather outlooks, as well as additional Insider features down the road like supplemental video updates around major storms, and other bonus content. Becoming a Weather5280 Insider will be just $5/month, less than a cup-o-joe (okay, maybe two) and well worth a Lincoln every 30 days to be sure.

What it means to be an Insider Pro
Insider Pros will receive access to all the same content as Insiders do, but for $20 dollars a month will receive a minimum once a month long-range forecast update for their specific regions, as well as unique access to the Weather5280 team for support in decision making. Currently our regions covered are: Northeast Colorado, Southeast Colorado, Texas, Central Plains, High Plains, Southwest, Intermountain West, and California. This list may evolve a bit as we start to ramp things up.
