You can see some really impressive November snow totals on the list.

As far as top individual storm totals for Denver, a doozy came through 2-4 November 1946 dropping 30.4 inches. 21.5 inches fell 26-27 November 1983. A 17.7 incher came through 19-21 November 1979.

Considering October had over a foot of snowfall, how did November fair in years following top-Octobers?

15 Octobers in Denver's entire record had more than 10 inches. Of those, 6 were followed by a snowier than average November. Only 3, however, had double-digit snowfalls, and those happened a long time ago...

1929 23.1"
1908 22.9"
1906 13"

That's just some perspective on this November. The first two weeks of the month have some passing systems, but you can see the total snowfall through November 14th according to the 18z Monday run of the GFS isn't showing a whole lot after a very busy end to October:

If correct, this would mean the second half of November would have to really deliver in order for us to rival any of the November stats as listed above.

Edit 2 pm: we corrected DIA's data which was previously showing season to date totals, not those of just November.
