Pro subscribers, a heads up in regards to the significant cold on the way for
September 7th to 10th and some details on the potential for snow and rain too.

First off, the cold.

A very strong cold front will deliver a 40 to 60 degree temperature drop from
Labor Day to the days that follow. The season's first killing freeze is possible
with this airmass. 

Record cold will be possible in some locations by Wednesday morning. Speaking of
Wednesday, the 9th, here is a look at possible morning temperatures across the
Central US.

Now, to precipitation. There is also quite a bit of water - for some - to come
with this system and many may see their first measurable snowfall of the season.

Areas of Texas to the Corn Belt and Midwest will need to be on the lookout for
damaging thunderstorms as the system passes.
