Almost to that weekend, which will cool down on Sunday as rain chances increase from Sunday into Monday. For Denver and the greater metro area, the threat of hail and damaging thunderstorms lingers but remains low overall.

Kick things off with a general planner:

Sunday cools into the 60s to lower 70s versus the 70s and 80s of Friday and Saturday. Whoa, who put the cart in front of the horse?! It's Thursday...

Here's a more specific hourly planner for Thursday through Saturday for temperatures and rain chances.

Warm, near average, temperatures to end the workweek with storms floating around - some of which may be strong enough to become severe due to larger hail and damaging wind. However, the overall storm coverage is just scattered about. Let's turn to the entire state to see where/when storms will develop today:

When it comes to the severity of the storms today, any can produce hail but perhaps the most likely area (odds are slightly higher, anyway) will be on the Palmer Divide.

That's for Thursday, and a relatively similar setup for Friday. Into the weekend and early next week, however, is when we see the number of storms increase but not necessarily their strength.

Temperatures will cool as the rain chances increase, here is your daily high/low chart for Denver.
