Colorado Snowfall Totals February 25 - 26

Denver International Airport recorded 2.1" of snow with this system, bringing the month-to-date snowfall to 19.3". This is now the fourth snowiest February on record, with more snow in the forecast!

Officially, Denver has now recorded 42.5" of snow on the season, which is well above the average (to end Feb) of 35".

As forecast, those along and west of I-25 did much better with snowfall with this system than those to the east. Several foothill communitees saw more than a foot of snow!

Here's a map of CoCoRaHS 24 hour snowfall totals through 7am Thursday. Zoom and pan around to explore your location. Notice the sharp east to west gradient of greatest totals.

Meet up tonight!
Several people have reached out to see if we are still planning to meet tonight – the answer is yes! Hope to see you all at Denver Syntax Physic Opera (not the same location as Oct meet up!) tonight at 6:00pm. If you did not RSVP, you're still welcome to come by and have a beer. Matt will kick things off with a forecast brief at 6:30pm, sharp!

More snow in the forecast
Look for more updates to come, but our pattern remains a wintry one into next week. Cold temperatures today with more snow possible this afternoon and evening, and overnight lows back in the single digits.
